“Oud Recital” by Alaa Shahin Saturday July 5th @ 8:00 pm In the Archaeological sit at Darat al Funun Shahin was born in Amman in 1978. He was graduated from the Arab oud House in 2003 as Oud Soloist; also he was educated by the Iraqi artist Naseer Shamma (one of the best Oud player in the Arab world). Shahin is the founder of the Music Group “Awtar”, and The House of Arabic Aud in Jordan. Shahin has founded a new Indonesian method in playing the Oud; he has participated in numerous music events and festivals in Jordan, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco and Italy.
