A 36 km afternoon ride takes us on a surfaced route, going from Madaba on the King's Way then turning towards Bani Hamida village and further to Mukawir on a narrow paved road with several up and downhills. At the village we will be having dinner with a local village family. You will also have the chance to walk up to the remains of the fortified hilltop palace of Herodus Antipas, where John the Baptist was imprisoned and beheaded, and enjoy a special panorama of the Dead Sea.
