Although the weather in Amman is still not quite into spring mode, it hasn’t stopped Jordanian flowers, grown in the Jordan Valley, from blooming. With the second Annual Spring Festival being held at Zara Centre, Jordan’s finest flowers can be admired and enjoyed. The event is organized by Zara Centre in association with The Jordanian Association for Cut Flowers and Ornamental Plants and Amman’s florists and runs from 16 to 27 April. Three floors of Zara Centre will be transformed into a spring garden, complete with trees, plants, lawn and cut flowers artistically arranged in a massive display that showcases the colour and varieties of flowers grown in Jordan. Over 150,000 individual flowers from amaranthus to zinnias are used in the displays. The event coincides with the launch of spring fashion collections in Zara Centre, Amman’s luxury shopping destination. One complete floor will be dedicated to a theme of pink in honor of the good work done by our colleagues who are building awareness of Breast Cancer and its early detection. In addition, special attention this year will be given to the activities of the weekend Flower Market where additional activities for the whole family will be included.
